Shray's works showcase a deeper understanding of humanity's ability to grasp the mass of the figurative/human body thru her abstract manipulation. Appreciating its approachable forms and pertinent message, ‘Her skills with bronze create a 3D environment for the viewer; sustaining an approachable and pertinent message,’ says Trey Brennan of the T.H.Brennan Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Her sculpture's exposure to different light, sound, and shadows within the Mussi sculpture garden invite full exploration by spectators, unhindered by artistic standards concerning what art is and simply embracing the beauty surrounding them.

Shray feels that the human figure is an excellent vehicle for self and societal examination, touching on the ideas of life and its daily challenges, both positive and negative. Those polar sensibilities are incorporated into her bronze structure, both bold and vulnerable, begging the question, what is the meaning of life/art? Every person who observes her art becomes treated to a true definition of space, matter, and the human experience.

One of her unique sculptures in the “Step in Time Garden" Variation of One, a life-size work depicting a couple's outward embrace, serine gaze, and posture, cast comfort into the garden. While her sculpture Balance rises upward among the flowers and greenery, a celebration of love, commitment, and a swirl of elegance-their exposure to different light, sound, and shadows within the garden invites a full exploration by spectators. At the same time, a third sculpture, "Forevermore," gently holds the viewer; "You almost feel as if you are part of the mother's embrace of the child."

Exploring a "Step in Time" in the garden invites fingers to slide down the mother's back, feeling the exquisite signature lines of Shray's, where the fluidity of movement shows the mastery of Bronze. Thus, allowing the heart, unhindered by artistic standards, to simply embrace the beauty surrounding them.

Shray feels, "The human figure is an excellent vehicle for self and societal examination.'' Her deep understanding and skills in casting in Bronze allow her to explore the ideas of life and its daily challenges, both positive and negative. Those polar sensibilities run through her bronze forms. It is both bold and vulnerable, begging the question, what is the meaning of life/art? Every person who visits "Step at a Time" becomes treated to a true definition of space, matter, and the human experience forever expressed in her' Bronzes.

"My mind entwines in the shadows cast into infinite squares constantly moving," believes Shray.
